This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, who else can see it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. It does not cover information you give us during a consulting engagement, which is governed by the contract for that work.
Two forms on this site — Schedule a Free Assessment and Request a Demo — ask for:
All four fields are required. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss whether our services fit your situation. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
These forms are built and hosted by Tally BV (Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 11, 9000 Gent, Belgium). When you submit one, your answers are stored on Tally’s systems and a notification is emailed to us. We also record enquiries in our customer relationship management system, Pipedrive, so we can keep track of the conversation. Tally’s privacy notice is at tally.so/help/privacy-policy.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as we need to deal with what you wrote about, and thereafter as part of our business correspondence records.
The site includes discussion forums, which are publicly readable. Public account registration is switched off, so visitors cannot create accounts or post.
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. Records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and how you move through the site. Sets the cookies _ga and _ga_0V7YZSZMN7.
Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation. This is a session-replay and heatmap tool: it records interactions with our pages — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the content displayed — so we can see where the site confuses people. Microsoft masks text typed into input fields by default. Sets the cookies _clck and _clsk. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Burst Statistics, a self-hosted analytics plugin. Page-view statistics are stored in our own database rather than sent to a third party. Sets the cookie burst_uid to distinguish repeat visits.
Popup Maker sets cookies so that a popup you have already seen or dismissed is not shown again.
Server and security logs. Our web server and security plugins record IP addresses, request times and URLs, and failed login attempts. This is ordinary operational and abuse-prevention logging.
Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
Embedded content. Some pages embed content from X (formerly Twitter). Embedded content behaves as if you had visited that third party’s own site and may set its own cookies.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_0V7YZSZMN7 |
Google Analytics | Distinguish visitors, measure sessions |
_clck, _clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | Session replay and heatmaps |
burst_uid |
Burst Statistics (ours) | Distinguish repeat visits |
pum-* |
Popup Maker (ours) | Remember dismissed popups |
We do not use a cookie consent banner. Analytics and session-recording cookies are set when a page loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across all websites: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. If you would prefer we exclude you from analytics and session recording entirely, email us and we will tell you how.
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only so they can provide their service to us.
| Provider | What they handle |
|---|---|
| Tally BV (Belgium) | Enquiry form submissions |
| Pipedrive | Customer relationship records, including enquiry details |
| Google LLC | Analytics; font delivery |
| Microsoft Corporation | Session recording and heatmaps |
| Our web host | Everything on the server, as part of hosting |
| Our email delivery provider | Outbound email from the site |
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
We are based in the United States, and Google, Microsoft and our host process data in the United States. Our forms provider, Tally BV, is established in Belgium, so enquiry submissions are stored in the European Union. Wherever you are, information about you may be transferred across borders to countries whose data-protection laws differ from your own.
We keep enquiry and contact records for as long as they remain commercially relevant — that is, for as long as there is a realistic prospect of working together or a reason to stay in touch. Manufacturing buying cycles are long, and we would rather be honest that we do not purge on a fixed schedule than publish a retention period we do not keep to. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep them.
Analytics data is retained according to the settings on the Google Analytics property and the period Microsoft applies to Clarity recordings. Server and security logs are short-term, typically weeks.
We use HTTPS across the site, keep the site and its components updated, and run security software that limits login abuse. No website can promise perfect security, and we do not.
Wherever you are, you can email Gary.Schaum@schedulingsolutions.net and ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or provide a copy of it. We will do that unless we are legally required to keep it, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents. The CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Other US states — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Texas among others — grant broadly similar rights. We honour requests from residents of any state on the same terms.
Visitors from the EU and UK. We are a United States business and we do not market to the EU or UK, but we recognise that people there read our site. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we will honour requests to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, at the email address above. Our processing rests on our legitimate interest in operating and improving a business website and in responding to people who contact us; you may object to that at any time. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
This site is aimed at manufacturing professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged more prominently.
